Offer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another key to success is making a well-thought-out offer. Depending on what you’re selling, you should offer something in your first few emails that takes the least amount of time or money from your clients. In your first email to a client, asking them to book a call with you might not work as well as telling them to read a relevant case study or blog post. The key is to break up your main offer into small steps. This makes it easier for people to join and sets up future communication. If you ask yourself, “How can I break up my main offer into smaller offers or steps?”, your lead list will respond better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Timing is very important. If you send emails to your target audience at a time when they are busy, unwilling, or unable to open or notice them, you are wasting your time. There are a lot of facts and figures about the best times to send an email, which is good. Why you ask?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Time of day or night?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This one is pretty clear. It’s better to send emails during the day, as they are more likely to be opened then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mondays?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It’s never a good idea to send emails on Monday, because everyone’s inbox is full of emails from the weekend, and yours might get lost in all the noise. Also, most people are busy on Mondays, so it’s possible that your readers or leads won’t have time to open and read your emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weekends?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Weekends have very low open rates because most people don’t work and are busy doing things around the house or doing things they enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most fun?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The best days to send emails are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, when most people open and interact with them. Mail Chimp says that most people open emails on Tuesdays and Thursdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Times?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Most of the time, the best times to open are 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and around 6 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, each of us has a different target audience with different habits, activities, routines, sleep patterns, etc., so this can’t be a one-size-fits-all rule. You should use all of the above statistics in your first campaigns, but you need to make sure you TEST different days and times and see how your audience responds. High open and click rates depend on testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
